An Airdrop is giving away free tokens to people so that people become aware of that token. Generally, a token team airdrops a certain amount of its tokens to all of its qualified users. People on the other hand want to claim tokens as they are free and can become a decent amount in the future. It is considered a marketing technique for new crypto projects and it has proven successful every time.
You can participate in the airdrops and get free money every day. You can also earn an extra amount of tokens as a referral commission. The airdrops posted on CMC are genuine and legit snd they airdrop a huge amount.
Sometimes an airdrop can be a scam. The token that is airdropped could be a scam token or the team behind the crypto project might be a thief who wants to take your money. These websites are deleted after a certain time. So you must always do your proper research before participating in an airdrop.
